Elizbeth took in a deep breath. The cool night air felt good in her lungs, and she wished it would last forever.
She glanced back at the crowded indoors, and took another breath – these events always bored her. But she couldn't stay here, not for too long, or someone might come looking for her.
She looked out at the dark forest, for where the light ended and night began. It would be so easy to slip off these crystal slippers and disappear forever.
