A little magic in your poetry

by itsjess

So many places to see Too many unseen towns Where people speak magic Within the city grounds

A mountain to move A hill to climb To watch the sunset At its prime

Where i dip my feet In lakes glittered with stars In a forest of elm And fireflies in jars

I want to lay in a field of emerald grass To hear the earths secrets Of the people it houses At which it leaves me speechless

To float on a cloud Over a city of souls And then fall in love Without any control

I wish to leave this town I wish to roam For why would you stay in one place If the whole world was your home

You wrote a piece so lyrical in quality that it lends itself to song. It is a beautiful poem. I am in love with the way you meticulously sculpted the structure of it.
