No more shall a mother have to cry, as her child lays dying in her open arms. (Poem inspired by today's prompt: never again and a piece on the effects of war.)

No More Should War Rule Our Land

No more shall a mother have to cry, as her child lays dying in her open arms.

No more shall a mother have to cry, as her child lays dying in her open arms. No more should a father dig up a grave, 6 feet deep and 2 feet wide.

Never again should blood be split, Pouring out faster than a ruby landslide.

Never again should blood be split, Pouring out faster than a ruby landslide. Never again shall a body fall, One wide hole in the place of a heart.

No more should war rule our land, Never again shall we forget our humanity.

No more should war rule our land, Never again shall we forget our humanity. No more should we be forced to let go of a hand, Once more humanity shall remember our sanity.

A quick glance at the effects of war. Thanks for reading.

That's Iqra... OUT.
