It feels nice to write about home

An ode to Victory

To the birds that herald our departure

The skies, the sun and moon singing along

We have finally, ceased our steps toward adventure

We are coming home

Our hearts burn

Our hearts burn homely hearths, a cold night

Our hearts burn homely hearths, a cold night Blazing with vigour, we

Our hearts burn homely hearths, a cold night Blazing with vigour, we Never again part, folks at sight

Our odyssey was an ode

A story that is finished

Yours, a prophecy,

Yours, a prophecy, bold

May it's flame never be extinguished

Till then, we have arrived

Till then, we have arrived Once sharpened, old knives

@glakasa, this was supposed to be a song for a short story that I just wrote but I saw potential of it as a standalone, so here we are. I feel warm writing this and it feels nice to write about things home, you know what I mean. Anyways, before I ramble, have a good day and thanks for reading!
