Holden sat on a swing behind the school. It was a Saturday and school wasn't in session. It was early, but there were a few kids there running around and climbing on the jungle gym.
‘I hated the place, Al' Holden said to the empty swing next to him. He was swaying back and forth on his own swing. 'You would have been golden there. Highest marks, top boy. You were always so good in school' Holden smiled.
A small child ran up to the empty swing next to Holden. The child tried to climb on. 'Swing’s taken' Holden said.
