Let me go ...

Let Go (Poem #26)

Let me go, I don't wanna be here anymore,

Just wanna fly high like the crows,

Inside I wanna implode,

I've bent and bowed, I know I'm broken, not able to arose.

Friends or foes,

I don't know anymore,

Been thrown, tossed to and fro,

Just wanted to go pro,

But now I'm low, beneath the hoes, under the motes,

So go and row your boat, you reap what you sow,

But bro, nobody wants to be a hero and save me tho,

Just wanted to watch my people grow.

Learn to let go,

I'll be alright without y'all.

I know I fought so hard,

Was so close.

An' thank you for being there,

Through it all.

But this time I gotta do it on my own,

But I sincerely thank you for everything tho

Just please let go, don't hold on,

Been running from the popo, watching the lights glow,

Nowhere to go,

I can hear em shoot, load, pop, reload.

Like me in my room,

When I miss again tonight,

I ain't missin' no more,

'Cause I don't wanna be here anymore.

Just let me go, like Nev, Dallas, Landon, and Saber,

I promise I won't go far, just takin' a trip to the stars,

Nobody realizes how special one is, until they're gone,

That's why I'm leaving, so I'm saying, "So long".

Please just let me go

'Cause on the last note,

Will be my last quote,

"I've always seen you as family tho, but I'm sorry, I have to do this, bro"
