Hailey enters and shuts the door behind her as Eric freezes, putting a hand on the edge of the table. She walks over to the wall and settles against it.
"Not moving on, just showing some kindness that I shouldn't have shown a whore like you." Eric spits, the vitriol and venom in his voice plain as day.
"Oh, so you can call sleeping around kindness but I'm the whore when I do it?" Hailey retorts, unfazed. Eric clenches his jaw and speaks with a barely subdued tone. "Your shit is in my room.
You know where the rest of it is. Get it and get the fuck out of my house." "Not gonna dignify me with a response there Eric? You're just as bad as I am. You know you are.
Especially since you've been sleeping around too." Hailey taunts, taking his silence for an admission of guilt. Eric sags slightly, like he's lost his will.
He gets up and walks over to Hailey, and all but pins her against the wall, a smile on his face. "Yeah... I suppose you're right. I'm no better than you. In fact, I'm probably worse.
" He leans in like he's going to kiss her and instead whispers into her ear. "which is why I'm not going to feel bad for doing this.
" He pulls away from her and proceeds to pull back his fist and slam it through the drywall, less than an inch from her head.
"Now, if you would like that to not be your face, I suggest you shut up, get your shit, and get out. And fast. Because the clock is ticking Hailey.
And I get more irate with your presence for every minute you're here." He vowed in a dangerous tone. Hailey began shaking and ran to his room.
Eric turned back around and looked at Echo, his face softening. "I'm sorry. You didn't have to see that. I probably shouldn't have lost my temper."
He said softly, taking his seat across from Echo and taking a sip of his coffee.
