Sun on my Skin and Blood on my Fingertips

by Emily R Mazza

It's sunny out and I should be happy.

Instead, I am bleeding and screaming for help--

silently.

I don't know what stings more;

These scrapes on my leg or the sun hanging over me telling me to be happy.

Your wording is dramatic and descriptive. You're darker narration of this tragic behavior is heart rending. Great job!!!.
