Behind The Mask

I smile for the children. They deserve the hope. I smile for my parents. I think that's how they cope.

I'm angry for my teachers. This isn't how I feel. I'm angry for my bosses. It makes me seem more real.

I laugh for my friends. I think it's been a while. I laugh for my siblings. They need to see me smile.

But at night I lie awake alone, I'm almost scared to ask, What is in there? What is left? When I take off the mask.
