Emotions

by dannibear1461

Tears flow from my eyes I cannot disguise I cannot hide my emotions bubbling away like a potion

Scared of being hurt again Is just driving me insane I'm scared to trust Even though I must

Instead I hide away These feelings quite grey Tears flowing freely Feels so weary

Trying so hard to contain Emotions that cause me pain Of desertion, loss, uncertainty Questioning myself for an eternity

@dannibear1461 Youm know it is our damned English language. We have to be precise ro the metre and rhyme are compromised. I. hjust this week, told my wife that I was going to start writing poetry in Spanish mbecause evry word ends in "o" or "a". I would never even attempt poetry in German.

@bernardtwindwil thank you I'm still working on it as I've got what I need to say but needs to be sharper

This was dramatic and intense. You created some deep feeling for the first person POV. This poem was well constructed. It had aa easy beat to it.
