Use Hashtags the Right Way
Type in hashtags as a comment as opposed to the caption. Use 5 to 10 hashtags. 3 or 4 high traffic hashtags, your own branded hashtag, and some that have lower traffic.
Consistency is Everything
You eat an elephant one bite at a time. Post at least twice per day at peak times. Never sacrifice quality! Set a bar, and if you find yourself going beneath it scale back to postin once per day.
Flipagram allows you to tell captivating stories on Instagram that are hard to convey with only one picture. Try it out for yourself!
Get a high-quality camera
To get the maximum amount of engagement, you must take high quality photos. It's worth the money. If you don't have the cash, use your smartphone and get creative with filters and edits.
Like and Comment a Shit Ton
Don't do it all at once or else it'll look forced and artificial. Instead, pick 5 to 10 people and engage with them by spacing it out throughout the day.
Switch up the content
Don't post the same stuff over and over again or your followers will get bored as hell. Plain and simple. Switch it up every once in a while. Participle in a challenge, make an Insta video, etc.
Brand all of your content!
Put your brand's logo as a watermark on ALL of your posts. Brand recognition is key. Pick a theme for your posts, and be sure that the font/font size/etc. is all parallel.
Templatize all the content you are able to
Scalability is everything in any venture. Alleviate the need for redundant work. Make templates for any and all content where you are able.
It's a lot of hard work, but you can do it. Good luck!
