I wrote a poem about not having any inspiration.
A blessing in disguise?

Inspiration

by chloeblue2

Inspiration

is a fleeting thing

How does it come to you?

In beeps or dings?

Or at two in the morning With a cup of tea in hand?

Or in the middle of a concert

With your favorite band?

Do ideas come

in moments of silence?

Or in the buzz an excitement Of an outdoor market?

Do you find inspiration in nature?

Or in a shopping mall?

Or sitting in your room Pencil in hand as you draw

In a good book

Completing your look

In scented lotion In motion Devotion Emotion

Or something else entirely?

Though it comes in many forms

And it comes in many ways

Inspiration is fleeting

Like a feather in the wind

And just as light And just as delicate

And gone.

This is really fantastic and I can definitly say this is one of my favourites. It flows very steadily and is well thought out.

@bernardtwindwil Haha, that's true. Some of the best ideas come from the bathroom! And thank you!

You forgot the two most important places for inspiration to strike and how helpless you are to act on them, on the pot and in the shower. This was sp ell written that it helped to make your point, The verse was fluid and lyrical. Great job. Please, write another one.

@_notlikeothers_ Haha, no I understand what you're saying! It was so much fun to write this poem, especially since I love using irony. I'm glad you liked it!

I found this amazing and ironic all in the same as you write about not having inspiration and with not having inspiration you actually have inspiration. Confusing I know, but understandable right?
