Time passes by, moments, minutes, little shards of forever,
Eternity in a heartbeat, everlasting seconds, playing with my mind.
Remembering the details, small things I’d like to forget,
Yet tearing pages from my brain, forever unable to find.
Faces blending, names unimportant, a blur in grey.
Eyes haunting, of friends irreversible lost.
Those I loved, those I loathed, it matters not.
It is with me, everyone who’s path I crossed.
Time gives and takes away in a cycle that never ends,
Killing as much as bringing alive.
I stand in the middle, motionless,
Finding my place is my ultimate thrive.
At a point it will happen, time claims me as well,
And one of the faces in the blur I will become.
Hopefully hated by as less as possible,
Longing to be loved by some…
