Don't wait to be "found". Avoid the "lost and found" mentality. Don't wait to be "found" by someone to validate your value. You have value. You are unique. What "claim" will you stake?
What you think, upsets you; YOU Upset You; NOT what is said. Talk to yourself. Your brain is the only thing that can tell you what to think about you. Change the story. Be your own cheerleader.
