For those who fear their walls will be broken

little diver

When she swims below my surface

When she swims below my surface she could part every wave—

When she swims below my surface she could part every wave— to find where she’ll create a hurricane

Every storm that finds me

Every storm that finds me twists my fins through a whirlpool

Every storm that finds me twists my fins through a whirlpool down to my deepest depths.

I fear her legs won’t kick

I fear her legs won’t kick she can’t swim, she might drown—

I fear her legs won’t kick she can’t swim, she might drown— so we keep it knee deep for now.
