pallor;
original poem

pallor

by beautiflare

Emotional hardships cant bring me down. Physical torture is my weakness now.

Stop pretending. You're not sick. Don't play a victim. Are words that they tell me.

Stop fighting. Stop trying. Give up. Are the words I hear.

Happiness is a word forgotten by me. Love is something I haven't seen.

What has this world Unto me? What is the point Of trying to breathe.

I appreciated the concise and rhythmic poem. The emotions flowed right through to the reader, me. You awaken images buried deep in my past when the young ladies around me were suffering exactly like your heroine in your poem. Great job of passing on those feelings of despair.
