i miss you;
original poem

i miss you

by beautiflare

I close my eyes and I see you, Remember the moments that were actually true.

I ached for nice memories, kisses and laughs. A sad smile appears because we couldn't last.

Now you're away, because I didn't stay. Experiences made me happy as we met our fate.

When I meet darkness I silently curse, Because it all could've been horribly worse.

The feeling of your soft lips still lingers. I still can feel myself being held by your fingers.

It was all without doubt my dreams come true. So tell me why I'm missing you?

@anominous thank you! well, the main idea is about a relationship that you're gald about that it's ended, at the same time you miss the person. @bernardtwindwil Thank you! Well, rhymes is a way that works for me, considering that english is not my native. And since I write more on wattpad, the poems are usually put in verses, but nevertheless I wanted to share some of my poems here too.

@beautiflare I was more than halfway through before I realize it was heroic couplets. That is outstanding. The story was so compelling and the flowers so packed with emotional imagery, the fact that the couplets rhymed did not hit me at first.
