I want you to live not just survive.

Dear child(ren)

by basharasweet

I want you to live

Not just survive.

I want you to explore

Not just experience.

I want you to speak

Not just listen.

I want you to play

Not just be interested.

I want you to teach

Not just learn.

I want you to be yourself

Not anyone else.

So, someone has made a gem here, eh? :D Seriously though, you wrapped your thoughts in good a literary form and used parallelism to fine an extent, yet in no exaggerated way. This is one thing. But what makes this piece special is the high note on which it ends since this points at the most precious asset anyone possesses: individuality; and the only real responsibility each one of us has: To make it unfold. All in all, a wonderful little work. Given you did not think about its form first but only its outcome, viz. its form came up all by itself during your writing---which I assume---your creation is masterly indeed.
