Your Glasses ; Part 2

by author

Our kisses,

Those forbidden, illicit, yet sweet, kisses

A handful of moments wherein we were almost seen

In my backyard,

Our lips were in sync

And your touch,

Oh I thought it will never leave

But with my skin in flames

You walked through the fire

Just to see if I was okay

I tried to push you out

But you forced yourself to stay

Until you turned to dust

Right before my eyes

Wonderfully written. I thought it was going to be one of the typical cliche pieces you see so often here. But you blew my socks off. The words were descriptive and portrays a power to the verses. Great job!!
