This poem is describing may journey through depression.

Bottom of the sea

Depression is like, Living at the bottom of the ocean,

Depression is like, Living at the bottom of the ocean, It's dark and cold, And unbelievably lonely, Oxygen is hope, But It takes so much effort to find enough to, Barely get by.

And If you spend long enough down there, The memory of light, Begins to fade,

And If you spend long enough down there, The memory of light, Begins to fade, So reaching out Becomes almost impossible When a life in the light Is just a distant memory, You can't remember what joy was like

You're afraid to move Towards the light,

You're afraid to move Towards the light, Where all kinds of monsters may lurk,

You're afraid to move Towards the light, Where all kinds of monsters may lurk, But also afraid of Falling and hitting rock Bottom,

But most of all, petrified of staying In the same spot you're in, In the darkness, And All alone.
