If you think about it, people are a lot like the sea, not only because of what I show here but in so many different ways.

Just like the sea.

Like the sea,

you have so many different levels.

You can get so deep, people can drown in your thoughts.

And if they know how to swim, they go as far as their tolerance allows them.

Fascinated by the endless view of your sea of thought's surface.

If they are skilled divers, they learn something new every time they dip their mind into yours.

They have to be careful though, because your dark thoughts are the sharks of your ocean.

They can consume them in a moment's notice, so you put warning signs whenever you know they get too close to dangerous waters.

Some even build their houses next to the sea, the closer they can be to you, the more it feels like home.

They're not afraid of any floods you can cause, they know too well that even the mighty sea is not perfect

They're not afraid of any floods you can cause, they know too well that even the mighty sea has its days.

Their judgement: it's worth taking the risk.

The ones who I am worried about are the ones who stay in the safe:

The ones who I am worried about are the ones who stay in the safe: the shallow waters.

They could get used to it, even grow to like it.

They would never get to know you as well as those brave enough to keep moving deeper and deeper.

All they would ever be able to do:

All they would ever be able to do: admire the blue waters from afar,

All they would ever be able to do: admire the blue waters from afar, as they watch their hands through the transparent water,

All they would ever be able to do: admire the blue waters from afar, as they watch their hands through the transparent water, hide inside the sand,

All they would ever be able to do: admire the blue waters from afar, as they watch their hands through the transparent water, hide inside the sand, out of shame.
