"So..." Percy looked at Annabeth and those wonderful blue eyes of hers. They had been sitting under a large tree at the camp, enjoying simply hanging out together.
Percy had his arm wrapped around his girlfriend's shoulders, and she rested her head on his chest, enjoying feeling his heartbeat echo so softly against her.
"What?" She asked, looking up at him, a quizzical look in her eyes.
"You never did tell me what you plan to do when you grow up after you leave this place for good."
Annabeth smiled, shrugging her shoulders gently and making Percy laugh.
"What? The wise girl doesn't know what she wants to do with her life?"
Annabeth punched him gently on the arm and chuckled as well.
"Of course I do! I just can't imagine my life without this place... or you"
"I'm not going anywhere, Annabeth" He assured her, making her grin and kiss him tenderly.
"I want to be an architect" She explained, as the kiss broke off. "I want to redesign this whole world, you know, make it better. Make it a good place to live, a happy place"
"That sounds like something you'd aim to do" He praised her tenderly and kissed her once more, pulling her closer to him.
The world seemed pretty perfect to Percy right then and there, he had to admit.
