Castiel and Dean were laying in bed together. This was not the first time it had happened, though, but up until now, Dean tried to play it off as just a spur of the moment thing.
This time, though, they had actually gone out on a date (a very peculiar date, since Castiel still didn't fully understand the concept of it) before coming back to his apartment.
Cuddling comfortable against each other, Castiel brought up the issue Dean wasn't ready to deal with yet.
"I still don't understand why we can't tell Sam about this"
Dean groaned and gave Castiel a woeful look, before replying:
"Cas, we already spoke about this"
"I still don't understand" Cas replied, plain-faced, and Dean leaned in to kiss him tenderly.
"We'll tell him soon, I promise"
"Are you ashamed? It looks like you are ashamed"
"It's not shame... he just won't understand. I need to ease him into it"
"Well, that's good. Because I like this... whatever it's supposed to be called"
Dean chuckled and nodded, caressing Cas' chest as he looked at the handsome angel.
"I like this too... whatever this is"
"I heard young people calling each other boyfriends, is that what we are?"
"I suppose so, yes." Dean smiled brightly and decided it was time, after all. "We'll talk to Sam tomorrow"
