Stop kicking my chair

Boy howdy do I have a funny story that happened today, I was at a screening of the movie 12 Years a Slave that had a Q and A afterword,

and naturally the theatre at my school was nearly filled up for it. (I go to a film school).

As I'm looking for a seat this rather portly woman, we'll call her psychotic bitch, walks up to me and tells me in a rather aggressive tone:

PB: "Are you finding a seat or do you already have one?"

CC23: "I'm trying to find a seat."

PB: "Then you need to go and wait over there."

She points down to a small line that was building up on the side of the theatre.

We have students, alumni, and staff that see the movies so sometimes it gets crowded and at a certain point they take the reserved signs off some of the seats, and students will occupy them.

They free up some seats and then I find my place which is nicely positioned in the center of the theatre. PB sits not right in front of me, but to the seat to the left of the seat in front of me.

Two other women sit right next to me, then the movie starts.

I notice the girl sitting to my left was shifting around a little bit, I saw that it was starting to bother PB, who was sitting in front of her.

The innocent girl sitting next to me, must have accidentally bumped PB's chair a little bit, because then PB whipped around and whispered loudly:

PB: "Hey, could you please stop kicking my chair!"

Innocent girl obliged and then we continued watching the movie.

But then out of nowhere PB whipped around and said it again: "Hey! Stop kicking my chair!

", this time it was rather loud, and I did not see IG move a muscle that time, so I thought: 'Great, it's going to happen again at some point'.

And sure enough, PB whips around a third time to yell at IG.

PB: "Stop it! Stop it! Just stop!"

PB in a psychotic, childish rage gets up and then sits up trying to block Innocent girl's view of the movie, but PB's problem is that she was too short to block her view.

PB sat upright in her seat FOR THE ENTIRE MOVIE, and also was halfway slumping over the seat of the person next to her.

I have no idea what her problem was, maybe she imagined that the rumbles from her fat gut was IG kicking her seat.

It was hilarious trying to see her ruin the movie for IG even though she was too short to do anything, or else I would've offered to trade seats with IG.

The movie ends and we get to the Q & A with the film's screenwriter, and halfway through it, I see IG maybe brush her toe across PB's chair.

PB looked back in disgust at her while she shook her head. At this point I was thinking, 'Really? Who gives a fuck at this point?', but PB was still unbelievably ticked off.

IG's friend even asked "Is she serious?"

The Q and A ends and IG's friend walks up to PB after the film ended and explained that her friend wasn't kicking her chair, PB said: "NO! She was doing it on purpose! I know she was!

She was terrorizing me!"

After IG's friend attempted to resolve things and realizing how incompetent she was she gave up and they walked off.

I caught up with them outside of the theatre and mentioned how psychotic that woman was. We had a laugh about it, and I ended up getting IG's number, so that was pretty cool.

Some people you just can't get through to, and will have a problem with you no matter what you do.

It's best to keep a level-head when in these situations so you don't end up a terrible person like Psychotic Bitch.
