That falling asleep listening to music is actually a good thing for me. I only do it when I need to. When I feel stressed and need to calm down; focus my mind on one thing.
Sure, I might get headaches in the morning, but I pass out by the fourth or fifth song — roughly twenty minutes into my listening session,
whereas I normally lay awake for at least an hour before I can fall asleep.
Sometimes things just work for people, and just because it doesn’t work for you or you don’t think it should happen, doesn’t mean you get to have a say in it when it helps.
This is a minor little thing, but the minor things add up. Let me live my life, and do what I need to do. While I may not be an expert, I know me better than anyone else.
