Our theater got reserved seating very recently, so when guest buy tickets, there's a little seating chart screen and they pick their seats. Very simple. Some people really hate it.
Today a guest was going through the process and when it came time to pick seats, she scrunches her face and says:
"What, we have to pick our seats?"
"Yes, we recently got reserrved seating, *goes on to explain seating chart*"
"So we can't, like, go in and sit where we want and move around and stuff?"
"...No, you choose seats out here instead."
"..Well isn't that kinda the point of going to a movie?"
The point of going to a movie to watch a movie. And it's definitely not to move around.
Guests are dumb.
