Lyrics can be overrated.

A message lost

Within a cluttered bunch of

Words

Or a catchy beat for dancing

And although

I've learned that hope and light

Seep through the cracks

And I’ve sung about finding that beautiful life

I prefer a melody sans discourse

A quiet hum of sound that

Stands alone

As when an artist

Breathes subtle life into his vessel

Echoing back

The essence of a thought.
