Wisps and Threads

Anna Martin-Hill

Merely a hollow shell Of the person I once was The soul drained from my body My fears, my dreams, my goals Now the whispers of the wind

A delicate flower-like body Slowly walking As if the tiniest amount of wind Could blow me into a million different pieces Across the worlds

Looking up at the sky The sun smiling down at me But I feel nothing My emotions destroyed And I walk across these lands with no purpose
