Help me forget you.

Tell me how I’m supposed to move on—

because when I close my eyes, you’re staring back at me.

I feel your fingertips trace my skin delicately.

I feel your heart racing as I rest my head on your chest.

Tell me how I’m supposed to move on—

when you’re everything I’ve ever wanted.

Your eyes are warm like summer, but your soul is cold like winter.

Help me let go of you.

Tell me everything you did wrong, so I can finally let you go.

Tell me about your lies.

Tell me about the emotional torment you put me through.

Tell me how I almost lost my mind in the wake of leaving.

I love you so much.

Maybe coming back one more time will help.

Maybe I’ll be with you forever, or die trying...
