broken skin

by amyleepassmore

What is the point of trying, When I only end up crying?

Your words sink into my broken skin, The pain you caused galloping in. My eyes are wet with tears that don't stop, While yours are red, Showing no remorse.

My body violated, I continue to shake, While you sit there, And watch me break.

Your large body fills the room, While I cower in the corner, Waiting, For my impending doom.

This was painfully written. You evoked a tremendous load of pathos. My heart was torn by your words. It made me feel helpless. Great poem!!
