Don't tell me what I am, I have an evil one, It does not forget, It holds onto your words so tight, Holds it against my body, Pulls the trigger.

Ana.

This is a poem I wrote during my lowest point when I had an eating disorder. Hope you enjoy reading it.

Don't tell me what I am, I have an evil one, It does not forget, It holds onto your words so tight, Holds it against my body, Pulls the trigger.

Don't tell me what I am, I never licked a food once, Stayed in bed and waited with Death, As Demon cooks my food, It tastes nice for five minutes, But Demon wanted them back.

Don't tell me what I am, I was a never-ending dancer, It was tiring but Demon gave me the strength, Nothing was enough, Even when my feet were swollen, But thanks, I needed the push.
