I'm a murder; I killed the girl with the silent cry.

Murder

I'm a murder;

I killed the girl with the silent cry.

The girl that didn't have to force being happy,

The girl that knew what/who she wanted to be,

The girl that used to have more than one friend,

The girl that didn't try to fade away or blend.

Now she is dead,

Her eyes are a darker color and she rarely smiles,

and she doesn't believe the compliments she receives.

She survives in the night,

but barely manages in the day.

Everyday she wishes for someone to carry her way.

Now she can relate to the rain that is pouring,

She wonders if her parents will be mourning.

Now she can honestly say she wants to say goodbye,

But she muffles her thoughts with a horrid cry.

She cried for help with a silent plea,

but no one came to help.

This girl is me.

I'm a murder;

I killed the girl with the silent cry.

If only someone heard her wanting to die.
