Home alone, supposedly

Getting startled awake every night has got to stop. Dog was barking, cats were howling and something was having a wrestling match in the attic.

It sounded as if a bear had had enough of a mooses crap and was taking him down.

I walked into the hallway, jerked the tiny rope attached to the attic stairs and was instantly attacked by last years Halloween decorations.

After making a quick trip to the bedroom to change my hanes, I headed back up.

The bear had the moose in a headlock and was trying to pile drive him through the ceiling was my guess considering the amount of noise coming from there.

The switch clicked and the room was lit. The noise instantly stopped. The box that was home for the halloween decorations had flipped over, but that was all that was disturbed.

I climbed into the attic to get a closer look. Looking around where I had heard the wildlifes fight, I saw nothing. Nothing was disturbed.

Then, something flickered, on the ledge of the chimney connected to my bedrooms fireplace. It was a picture. Of me and my son walking out to his car earlier that day.

It was taken from the bathroom window. I'm getting someone to come investigate whatever is going on here. It's going to be a long night.
