I've been gone over a year but someone shouted out an old poem and I got inspired to post again!

Sister, Sister

have I hurt you, sister?

we both have claws,

but yours retract

and I keep mine sharp.

have I left you alone, sister?

it was always you and me,

but lately it's you,

and me.

have you grown cold, sister?

warmth runs in our veins,

but your hands

and heart are turning to ice.

is it my fault, sister?

I promised to protect you,

but they're coming

and I'm empty handed.

we share our scars,

our past,

our minds.

I know who you used to be.

I know who I will become.

can we heal, sister?

or are we

irreparable?
