Standing here on a quiet subway station I see faces I've never seen before Smiling into their phones and educating their ears with sentences unheard of.
I listen to the soothing voice of a melodious singer He rhymes his words at a roll of his tongue Putting a smile on my face.
I look around and all I see are heads Of humans, who's souls are detached from their body Standing on the platform filled with silence.
I wonder how, oh how do we still survive. In this isolated world Where our heads bow to the sight of technology
And then I see what's connecting us The internet and not our words A connection meant to be wholesome and pure Has been transformed into something completely obscure.
