Lies passed as truth, Painted in fact's aspects, painted such so no one could know

When feelings become habits

Lies passed as truth, Played on repeat Again, again, until They sounded unrecognizable

The future dreamed, Unseen, unrequited,

The want without the wanted Desire, longing, only spoken If nothing else:

The experience without the medium, Reaction without reactants

A stew for two for one.
