In my slumber, I can fly for I escape the torn asunder of my life.
No burdens or quandaries at my height, Just me and the sky.
I am at peace watching the sunset.
I can rest my eager mind for that simplest moment in the sky.
A burst of Orange, Pink, and Red dance upon evening heavens.
A gust of wind picks up and speed beckons.
I soar through dreamland above the ocean blue.
In and out of the clouds rolling in, I feel a shift in the mood.
Danger I see, danger I fear. Once I fall, dreamland must disappear.
The clouds turn Gray and the sky cries.
No refuge in sight, no place to hide.To escape the storm, I must fly. I must fly a speed I've never known before.
I hear the booming of thunder and the see the zaps of lightning,
I am shot with divination. I am falling.
Falling in slow motion. All thoughts, all actions, all emotions, they all stop.
This is bliss. Not knowing anything, ignorance is bliss. In that moment of falling, I don't feel anything. I don't exist.
But all good things end in despair. As I reach the water, I began to countdown. 3, 2, 1... and I wake up my nightmare.
