Beautiful Sights

Oh! My eyes have seen such beauty in the world.

They have seen the way the sun sifts through the leaves on a lovely summer morning.

They have seen my love sitting by a campfire on a chilly Autumn night.

They have seen the starry sky, causing my heat to swell with love for this life.

They have seen so many beautiful things.

They have also seen many heartbreaking, agonizing sights.

However, the dark only makes the light brighter

And so my eyes continue to take in this life.
