I wonder

Does the sky sleep at night?

Or does it lay awake, watching our dreams?

Are the stars nightlights?

Illuminating the darkness as the sky explores our minds

When the moon is hidden away,

Is it seeking refuge from our twisted psyche?

Or is it meeting the sun on a date?
