Bored, an original poem

Bored a poem by Ally

I look upon the starry night, body lit with creamy moonlight, I raise my hands, pray with a sigh, please act before stars calcify

When I see you and you see me, stars burst, earth shakes, we part the sea. And when you go I’m left despaired. Tempted again, and left ensnared.

So pray I ask, don’t make me sit. My one hope relies on thy wit. Do not leave me here wanting more, For this nonsense is just a bore.

Thank you so much for reading! This is my original poem! Follow me on Instagram @intricacyofwords for written stories or prompt inspired shorts.
