A poem inspired by "Your World" by Georgia Douglas Johnson

Into the unknown

Four winds blow from the four corners of the Earth.

Sweeping clouds across my sight

A dreadful fog turns day to night

And in the offing lies a world unknown

The home of many fears

And so we wait until it clears

On one of Earth's six faces

But one stands above the rest

Till taking step by step

Foot slips off the edge
