Before starting: actually,we had a poem to study in our 7 th standard- "CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE"by Lord Alfred Tennyson which was about soldiers dying in the Crimean War.After reading this I simply tried to write a parody and here it is:
Ringing the bell, went the fire brigade, Working hard throughout the day.
Once there was an accidental fire raging all the way , and it quickly marched towards the petrol pump's gate.
"Quick, call the Fire Brigade ,"shouted one to the other. But nobody listened as they were scampering altogether.
(But one showed the courage to call the Fire Brigade as he was in his flat, safe and far away.)
Vroom!came the Fire Brigade;with such speed they came The people were awed as they jumped out of the way.
(But inside the Fire Brigade, everyone was crying as the brakes were broken and it was truly terrifying.)
And just before the fire could reach the pump, the Fire Brigade collided with a loud bump.
The Firemen's Bravery is remembered up to this day and that is why my friend we put flowers on their grave. A.M.S
