Forbade the fruits of the concubines flesh Indulging the settling unrest

A darkened flee thru coppice greens Eyes bulge, mud flows, decamping from torrential fret

Limbs wrench, fist clinched, plunging stoically ahead

The sounds pound a hearkened growl as the foe meekly stalks the pray

The rain stains while thorns invade thru twisting turning tracks

A light flows but the concubine knows, move forward to avoid the brooding hounds

No rest as the edge was met, glissading down a steep ledge

As time streams across the mead a clearing hope and comfort breathes

The stain fades, the dry sun beats, a long lasting revelation repeats

Forbade the fruits of the concubines flesh for unsettling rest will be
