“Superboy! Come to convert me?” Lawton yelled. Superboy laughed. “Actually I'm here to dispose of you. You pose a threat to our cause.”
Miss Martian sucker punched Katana as Superboy ranted. “I don't get along with little girls.” She mocked.
Doom stepped out of the Jet. “I never DID like adolescents.” He said as he blasted Megan back away from Katana. She slammed into a wall before regaining her balance.
“Old man! You'll pay for that!” Miss Martian yelled. Using her flight she rose up into the air and came flying towards doom, fists first.
While they duked it out, Static and Hotstreak dragged Gear to a cell. “Guess this is our new infirmary for now buddy.” Static said as he charged his hands. “Clear!”
Superboy, being just as strong as Superman, had no problem with this new Batman. He had pinned him against a wall, and was laying punch after punch into him.
Of course he wanted to toy with his prey. He was holding back his strength, otherwise the first punch would have killed him.
“You're resiliency is impressive, I'll give you that.” Superboy chuckled. “But I think I'm done having fun.” He said, charging his heat vision.
“You may be done, but I'm not!” A female voice said from around the entire cave. Suddenly as if from nowhere, an arrow hit Superboy. He screamed in agony and let go of Batman.
A girl in green garb stepped out of the shadows. “Don't bother getting up. That arrow that hit your heart is made of Kryptonite.” She said.
Megan had just finished her fight with Doom, and he was out cold. “Artemis! You dare resist us?” She hissed. Artemis aimed an arrow at her.
“Both of us do.” She said slyly. As she fired the arrow Megan put her hands up to block it. To her surprise the arrow turned back into Plastic Man inches from her face.
He delivered a punch to her gut, while Doom regained his health. Victor shocked her in anger, pinning her back against Batmans giant penny.
Artemis leaped behind the penny and pushed with all her might. It tilted over, and crushed Megan. Victor smiled. “I like this one Batman.”
“She's not afraid to do what HAS to be done.”
