The truck pulled up to the gate and a voice spoke through the intercom. “How many?” The driver stopped chewing his gum and grumbled. “Seven.”
The gate to Arkham slowly opened and let the truck inside. “We will send a guard to meet you at the entrance. One prisoner in at a time.” The intercom said as the transport entered the facility.
White was the first one pushed out. A thin framed guard came and cleaned his glasses before looking oddly at the prisoner. “Don't think I've seen you before. Better prepare yourself.”
One by one the guard escorted the prisoners to a solitary confinement block. Once they were all inside he unlocked that blocks cells. “What's the deal? This a trick?” Captain Boomerang asked.
“You didn't actually think the guards name was Giman did you?” Floyd asked. “It's Nigma, actually.” The guard said, taking off his cap and replacing it with a green one.
“But I used to be known as the Riddler”
He pointed to the last cell on the right. “All your stuff is in that cell. Theres not alot of time before Joker finds out i helped you. So if you don't mind Deadshot.
” Everyone turned to Deadshot who was already gearing up.
“We had a deal. He smuggled our stuff in, and I kill him quickly.” Lawton said. Everyone gasped. “A bullet is nothing compared to what Joker can do.
Besides, since Batman died, I had no one to challenge my intellect. It's my time.”
“Everyone go get suited up. Riddler and I are going to find an empty cell.”
As Nigma sat in a cell, he looked at Lawton. “Humor me one last time. Take a shot at this question, while I riddle you.” Deadshot held up a lone bullet. “That's right. A bullet.
Riddled with bullets.” Floyd loaded a single shot into his gun.
A shot rang out.
In the office, Joker laughed. His players had showed up right on time. And his first target was already dead.
