“You just made a big mistake ya psycho.” Harkness said taking out a razor boomerang. Zsazz laughed. “You brought a boomerang to a knife fight?”
“Damn straight.” Boomerang said, lunging at Zsazz. Victor quickly moved out of the way, and slashed the captain across the side with his knife.
A pocket ripped open and a stuffed unicorn fell out, a tear in its head. “What the hell is THAT?” Zsazz asked. “That was a memory. And your goddamned death sentence.
” Harkness said, flying into a rage.
Whipping out a second boomerang, he began furiously slicing at Zsazz, who was trying his best to block each blow.
Growing tires of blocking, the killer kicked Harkness in the chest, knocking him backwards. A strong pair of hands caught him by the arms.
“Jones. Thank god.” A voice chuckled. “Guess again.” Boomerang looked over his shoulder to see Anarky restraining him.
“I think we should give him the thousand cuts treatment.” Anarky said. “I couldn't agree more.” Zsazz said approaching eagerly.
“Two on one? That's not fair!” Harkness said as he struggled. “Life's not fair.” Anarky said with a smirk.
“No. What's not fair is what I'M about to do.” Croc said from the other end of the tunnel. He stood next to a floodgates valve. “Hope you jerks can swim!”
With that he turned the valve, flooding the sewer. All four of the inmates were washed away, and separated at an intersection. Harkness was struggling to stay above the water.
Croc swam after him, bleeding as he moved. He caught up to his friend and pulled him to a door on the side, grabbing the railing for stability.
“Go through here. You'll be in the garage. Get transport… for the others.” Croc said through weak breaths. “Frost loved you Jones. Shed be proud of what you did today.”
As Croc sank into the water, he smiled one last time.
