Whether it be a friend or a past-lover, everyone who enters your life will eventually leave at some point, or maybe it is you doing the leaving.

One Thing I Learned About Love, is to Not Beg if They Choose to Leave (A Poem of Some Sort)

My darling, as mesmerizing as you may be and as you may hold a piece of my heart, don’t mistake me for a beggar if you decide to leave.

Know that I won’t chase after nor will I beg while on my knees, for you to simply stay forever with me.

I’m not the sort of person to hold onto something the other has given up on, so don’t fake it and let it hang.

Instead,

I will let you go because I love you so.

So if there ever comes a day in which you make up your mind and decide not to stay,

Remember: I won’t plea for you not to leave.
