So, You probably recognize the terms, Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual. But have you ever wondered about other terms? Asexual? Pansexual? Demisexual?
I'm guessing quite a few of you don't, If you do that's cool too!
But one term I bet 90% of you haven't come across is Omnisexual. It isn't a term that's used that much, But that doesn't mean it's any less valid.
Well, Let's start with the origins of the word, 'Omni' means all, Makes sense because Omnisexual is a sexuality where the individual is attracted to all genders.
But isn't that just Pansexual? No, Pansexual people are often described as gender-blind, Meaning they don't care about Gender.
While if you're Omni, You notice the gender and it actually plays a decent part in your attraction.
Omnisexual people often have preference for different genders, Or like one or two genders less then the others,
You might be like some other people and think that maybe they're just bisexual or you might even think us Omnis our Bi-Phobic.
NO, We they not Bisexual, Bisexual people only have attraction to a couple genders, Omnisexual's like everyone.
They are also NOT Bi-Phobic, Bisexuality is just as valid as Omnisexuality.
That concludes this guide to Omnisexuality, If you have any other questions feel free to ask them in the comments!
