I wrote this while my parent's godchild, currently 2.5 years old, was running around the house. She's such a sweet, little thing.
As humans, we enjoy a somewhat longer lifespan that allows us to view the cycles that continuously occurs in nature. It's beautiful, sad, happy, everything - over, and over, and over again.

What happens to the people we no longer "need" after they've helped us stay upright?

I honestly have no idea how the final product ended up being this.
Playing off the idea of animal haiku, but connecting it to climate change and (arguably) some of the greediest animals! Although, the superlative of greediest animals definitely goes to the billionair...
This is my attempt at an acrostic poem. Just read the first letter of the first word of every line for a fun little message.
I wish more shelters existed to help alleviate America's food waste probl...
