I don't understand how people can stand there and smile...
Her dancing and smile hide her struggles from the world. To keep up the act, she risks losing her life. For a layer of ice is all that stops her from falling.
This poem is about the struggle of letting the light inside you show to those you're really close to. This poem is about my situation right now, so this might not be completely relate to you.
